Our Peacock mothers and grandmother - Marjorie, Gertrude and Hazel
In June, 2009, after several months of email discussion and sharing of information, we got together in Bracebridge. We visited the cemeteries where our mutual ancestors are buried and discussed replacing the monument for Thomas and Sarah Peacock. More on that later in the summer.Earlier, we realized that we are all last born in our families (ultimigenes) and wondered if this is a coincidence, or if there is some reason why the last born in a family is interested in family history.
