Hazel was born June 28, 1907, at Falkenburg, the second daughter of George and Jessie Peacock.The photo to the left was taken in 1960 at the Peacock Family Reunion in Orillia, Ontario.

Suddenly at Peel Memorial Hospital, Mississauga, on Tuesday, July 17, 1973. Beloved wife of Grant Thompson of Bexley, R.R.# 1, Kirkfield. Dear mother of Douglas, of Lindsay: Donna (Mrs. Calvin Coulter) of Bolton; Bradley of Toronto; and Joan (Mrs. Larry Maughan) of Parry Sound.
Resting at Reynolds Funeral Home. Service in the chapel on Friday morning at 11 o'clock. Interment in the Kirk Line Cemetery, Bracebridge.
The late Hazel Geraldine Thompson was a charter member of the Donlands United Church Women, Toronto. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts fo the Cancer Society would be appreciated.
